About half of my students depend on their mobile phone for their main e-mail address. Many of my students do not have access to a private personal computer, but instead rely on university computers or 'net cafes whenever they need to access the Internet with a computer. So, it makes sense to use QR-codes even on websites, so students can contact the teacher, etc.
